Health Information Management (HIM) Supervisor:
Applications for a customer service oriented individual to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. Individual will have overall responsibility for direction of the Medical Records Department. Individual will be responsible for the selection, training, and performance evaluation of department personnel. Maintains an accurate and efficient coding/abstracting system for patient records, has complete knowledge of coding systems, develops and implements standard departmental policies and procedures to reflect current best practices, and takes a leadership role in maintaining compliance with HIPAA. Individual will also be responsible for appropriate daily charge capture. RHIT or RHIA credentials preferred and 3 years of experience in all aspects of HIM. This position is full-time with benefits at 60 days. Competitive wages based on experience.
