  Mission: The Mission of Quincy Valley
Medical Center Foundation (QVMCF) is to seek, receive, and administer donations for the benefit of QVMC.
Purpose: The purpose of QVMCF is to financially augment QVMC. The Foundation helps purchase special capital equipment items and supports special projects. The Foundation only funds projects that will ultimately help the Medical Center fulfill its mission and vision.

Bone Density Machine Campaign:
In an effort to prevent
and grow the awareness of bone related degenerating diseases, QVMCF
joined Quincy Valley Medical Center in a campaign to raise funds for
a purchase of a Bone Density
Machine.
We are pleased to
announce that through the fundraising events of the Foundation and
with the help of the USDA we have raised enough funds for this
purchase.
Over the years the Foundation has been involved with many projects
to benefit the Quincy Valley Medical Center. In 2009, the Foundation
funded over $30,000 worth of items for the facility. Items

help build community support for
Quincy Valley Medical Center through participants and volunteers. Thousands of dollars have been raised by
Quincy Valley Medical
Center Foundation to go toward the purchase of medical equipment
and more.
As healthcare improves and the population of our community grows, the public places greater demands on our hospital. At the same time, insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, are paying less to hospitals like ours making the need for support from organizations like the Foundation more and more important.
